Does compression upload my PDF?
Unovative PDF on this computer does the compression. The file is not sent to a public cloud.
How does smart compression work?
Pages without heavy images are copied as vector content. Image-heavy pages are re-encoded at your chosen quality and max dimension — the same approach used by ToolAdda’s browser PDF compressor.
Can I compress to 100 KB or 500 KB?
Yes. Choose Target file size and pick a preset (50 KB–1 MB) or type any KB value. The tool walks gentler→stronger settings and stops at the best quality that still fits.
Will text stay selectable?
On text/vector pages, yes — they are copied unchanged. Pages that are mostly scans become images so text there may not stay selectable.
